Almost anything can be placed in your Mule Box. However, there are some exceptions. Hazardous materials (toxic chemicals, gas, liquids, waste, lawn mowers, motorized vehicles, etc.) and animals are strictly prohibited. In addition, we recommend that heirlooms, legal documents and currency not be placed in your Mule Box.
Because we offer monthly rental, you can pack and unload at your own pace. Your billing cycle begins the day your Mule Box is delivered and continues through your rental anniversary date.
Unless there is a restriction in your neighborhood, you can keep it as long as you need it. We will bill you appropriately for the additional use.
Yes, if your driveway can fit two vehicles side by side or end to end, it can likely accommodate two Mule Boxes. There is no limit on the # of boxes you can rent from The Mule.
To help prevent damage, we recommend that all your items be wrapped, padded or placed in a box. Our boxes also have d-rings every 2 feet high and low that you can use ratchet straps on for additional security.
While we do not sell or rent cardboard boxes or moving blankets-- we do sell disc locks to help secure your contents.

Mule Box provides a sure-footed moving and storage process, taking great care to protect your belongings. But weather, road conditions and other events can be out of our control. The Mule Box Rental Agreement offers customers the option to have coverage for the containers and their contents.
Our optional Mule Box Container Damage Waiver covers accidental loss or damage to the container. The optional Storage Protectors Contents Insurance policies will save you the hassle of filing on your homeowner’s insurance policy and come with a significantly LOWER deductible.
Mule Box offers optional Storage Protectors Content Insurance coverage. It has a low-deductible, and we offer policies covering all types of levels of insurance to make sure your goods are covered.
No, although their exceptional endurance and strength mean that they probably could. Our Mule Boxes are delivered by trucks, while our Mule-Bot™ delivery system loads and unloads the units. This wireless system can deliver storage containers in tight spaces and keeps them level to reduce shifting of contents during the load and unloading process.
