Mule Boxes are delivered "day of" your scheduled delivery day. Our drivers do contact you in 30-45 minutes in advance via text or call when they are in route to your location. Remember, you do not have to be present for delivery.
Almost anything can be placed in your Mule Box. However, there are some exceptions. Hazardous materials (toxic chemicals, gas, liquids, waste, lawn mowers, motorized vehicles, etc.) and animals are strictly prohibited. In addition, we recommend that heirlooms, legal documents and currency not be placed in your Mule Box.
Because we offer monthly rental, you can pack and unload at your own pace. Your billing cycle begins the day your Mule Box is delivered and continues through your rental anniversary date.
Unless there is a restriction in your neighborhood, you can keep it as long as you need it. We will bill you appropriately for the additional use.
Yes, you can rent as many Mule Boxes as you need. And, if your driveway can fit two vehicles side by side or end to end, it can likely accommodate two Mule Boxes as well.
To help prevent damage, we recommend that all your items be wrapped, padded or placed in a box. Each box also comes equipped with d-rings every 2-feet both high and low-- this allows you to utilize ratchet straps to also help secure your contents.
While we do not sell or rent cardboard boxes, moving blankets or dollies-- we do sell disc locks to help ensure the security of your box.

Mule Box provides a sure-footed moving and storage process, taking great care to protect your belongings. But weather, road conditions and other events can be out of our control. Each of our markets offers their customers the option to have coverage for on container damage and the contents they put inside the box. Both of these optional coverage come with SIGNIFICANTLY lower deductibles than a homeowners or business insurance policy.
Our optional Mule Box Container Damage Waiver covers accidental damage to the container. The optional waiver saves you the hassle of filing on your homeowner’s insurance policy and comes with a low deductible.
Yes, Mule Box offers Storage Protectors content insurance coverage. It has a low-deductible vs a homeowners policy. We offer policies covering all types of levels of insurance to make sure your goods are covered.
No, although their exceptional endurance and strength mean that they probably could. Our Mule Boxes are delivered by trucks, while our Mule-Bot delivery system loads and unloads the units. This wireless system can deliver storage containers in tight spaces and keeps them level to reduce shifting of contents.
